Product Information

These Notes on the Book of Daniel (1910) represent R. H. Charles' contribution to the New Century Bible. As a pioneering scholar in the study of Jewish intertestamental and apocalyptic literature, Charles was well-suited to this area of Scriptural commentary. His introduction and detailed exegetical notes on Daniel anticipate his later (and more expansive) critical commentary on the Book (1929). This earlier treatment is perhaps better suited for the intermediate student or working minister, as a strong introduction to a critical study of the ever-fascinating Hebrew and Aramaic book of Daniel.

Note: This title is also included as part of the 7-volume R. H. Charles Eschatology Collection.
