A collection of treasured sermons and homilies from Bernard of Clairvaux—his Sermons on Advent and Christmas. Bernard was a pioneering figure of the Cistercian religious order and of Monasticism during the Middle Ages. By the end of his life (c. 1090-1153), he was perhaps the most famous and influential Christian figure in Western Europe.
