are detailed and well-researched commentary on the parables and miracles found throughout the Gospels. In Parables, Trench clearly defines parables by contrasting against fables, myths, etc. He then goes on to provide meticulous commentary on 30 parables. In Miracles, Trench opens with an 81-page exhaustive essay defining miracles, then explains in detail 33 miracles.
