Vocabulary of the New Testament bundle (with abridged TDNT)
A bundle of classic and modern resources to aid you in studying the Greek of the New Testament—featuring the Moulton-Milligan Vocabulary of the Greek New Testament and the Complete Word Study Dictionary (NT) by Spiros Zodhiates.
This collection of classic and modern resources is designed especially for those intermediate Bible students and pastors who wish to supplement their study of the language and vocabulary of the New Testament, and yet perhaps are only just beginning to learn Greek (or brush up on it again). Five lexical works are included in this bundle:
The Theological Dictionary of the New Testament (TDNT)—This is the abridged, single-volume edition of the famous TDNT, prepared and edited by English translator/editor Geoffrey W. Bromily. It captures the essential information from the full 10-volume work, distilling it into an easy-to-use format, with the Greek presented in transliteration throughout. The abridged TDNT can also be purchased separately.
Vocabulary of the Greek New Testament, by J. H. Moulton and G. Milligan—This classic lexicon (known to all scholars as Moulton-Milligan) was the first to incorporate the Greek Papyri discoveries from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Even more recent Greek-English lexicons do not always discuss the Papyri evidence as extensively as Moulton-Milligan does. It is a valuable supplement to any set of New Testament lexicons, and belongs in the library of every scholar, student and minister of the Gospel.
The Complete Word Study Dictionary: New Testament, by Spiros Zodhiates—Part of the AMG/Zodhiates Complete Word Study series, this is one of the most convenient and user-friendly New Testament lexicons you are likely to find, and is IDEAL for those interested in learning Greek. Zodhiates touches upon the etymology and original/fundamental meaning of words more often than is usually done in single-volume lexicons. He also regularly provides convient lists of synonyms, antonyms, and related words.
Trench's Synonyms of the New Testament—R. C. Trench's landmark study, providing detailed articles on key New Testament words.
Berry's Synonyms of the New Testament—A similar work from George Ricker Berry, which serves as a supplement to Trench.
As with all Biblesoft Lexicons, these titles can be accessed either by Strong's number or by Greek word.
NOTE: All of these titles are part of the OneTouch Professional Series library. This bundle is intended as a lower-cost option for users who do not have (or have not yet upgraded to) the Professional Series.
The Berean Bible is a three-tiered study Bible to connect you from a smooth and accurate translation through to the root of the Greek and Hebrew meanings, incorporating three main components:
