Arthur Tappan (A. T.) Pierson (1837-1911) was a leading advocate for world missions and evangelism, preaching and writing on the subject frequently. He was among the first to document the growing missions movement of the 19th century, making the efforts of those pioneering missionaries known to a wider audience. This collection presents his major missionary and evangelistic writings, chief of which is his Miracles of Missions, published in four volumes between 1891 and 1901 (also availble for purchase separately). Illustrated with several dozen photos and drawings, each volume offers a series of engaging biographical sketches and narratives of selected missionaries and mission movements, emphasizing the (miraculous) hand of God at work.
