Mike Shreve has been involved in interdenominational evangelistic, missionary and Christian educational work since 1971 (protestant, fundamental, evangelical, Full Gospel). Mike is a powerful evangelist who has appeared on programs such as: 700 Club, 100 Huntley Street and TBN affiliate stations. He is the author of eight books and a Bible School Professor. Shreve was raised a Roman Catholic in a military family, but in his teen years drifted away from religion altogether. A near death experience during his freshman year in college caused him to turn his heart toward the pursuit of God. That year, in an effort to find the truth, he began studying under an Indian guru. Eventually, he became a teacher of Kundalini Yoga and meditation techniques at five Florida universities. He also formed and directed a yoga ashram in Tampa, Florida. In 1970, his eyes were opened to Jesus when he was born again. His life is a powerful testimony to God showing him truth while in the depths of believing in and teaching far eastern religions.
